Pinchitos marinade

Ahhhh, Pinchitos Morunos. Another Spicymonkey favourite.

This marinade has also become very popular with our customers which means our monkeys get to make loads of the stuff. That's not as good as it first seems because excited monkeys tend to throw things around and this stuff seems to get everywhere!

It is a Moorish style marinade originating from the southern parts of Spain (Grenada). Saffron, smoked paprika and lots of garlic give it a fantastic aroma which is proving quite addictive. Traditionally it is used to coat meat (mostly pork or lamb) before grilling over hot charcoals. This is fantastic but we can also recommend using it to coat veg before roasting, to stir through pasta (especially with chorizo and shredded cabbage), or with cous-cous.

In fact, we would probably even spread it on toast or cereal but you don't have to be as crazy as our monkeys.

This jar of spice mix is enough for approximately 6 portions depending on how much you like to put in.
