Fajitas are absolutely gorgeous. They are fast becoming popular all over the world and are close to resigning the common builders sandwich to the history books.
Fajitas are strips of beef with sliced onions and peppers, all served in a tortilla with a few condiments. Pretty much a Tex-Mex style hot-dog, but a squillion times nicer.
The main use for the fajita spice mix is obviously to flavour fajitas. Simply fry some sliced meat and vegetables and while they are frying add a good sprinkling of the spice mix. Stir it through to coat the meat / veggies. Roll these into tortilla breads with some salsa and yoghurt, maybe even some guacamole. Yummy.
This jar of spice mix is enough for approximately 12 portions depending on how much you like to put in.
To make the fajitas you will also need any meat and vegetables you like, some tortilla breads and anything like salsa, yoghurt, guacamole or all three!
There are easy to follow basic instructions on the side of the jar.
