If somebody asked you to name a Thai dish, this would probably be most peoples first answer. It's probably on every Thai menu in the world. In the western world it's widely known as the hottest of the Thai curries but this is not the case in Thailand. The Thai name for the green curry is "sweet and sour curry".

Spicymonkey Thai Green Curry paste is homemade and is pretty hot. More or less paste can be used according to taste.

It is very simple to make a Thai curry. All you need to do is fry some paste in a little oil, add some coconut milk, throw in any meat / fish / vegetables you like and simmer until cooked.

Thai curries are best served with plain rice but noodles can be good too.

Here at Spicymonkey Towers our monkeys sometimes mix some of the paste with mayonnaise or yoghurt for use in sandwiches or salads etc.

Because of the massive popularity of our Thai Green curry paste, we found ourselves facing hoards of tree-hugging spice fiends, demanding that we provide them with a vegetarian version. After taking out all the fish products, we had to alter a few other ingredients to get the same fresh Thai taste. We are delighted to be able to keep the veggies happy too and announce that a fish-free version is also available.
