|
Dopiaza is a classic Indian dish. Basically it means "two onions". So normally you just get twice as many onions as in other curries. But it also refers to two methods of cooking the onions. Half are small fried pieces in the sauce and the other half are added near the end of cooking and boiled. To make a Spicymonkey Dopiaza all you need to do is fry a diced onion in a little oil until it softens. Then add any meat or vegetables you like and the required amount of curry mix. Stir through for a few minutes. Now add the specified amount of tinned tomato and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes until cooked through. Next add a roughly chopped onion and simmer for another few minutes. Serve with rice.
Pricing £4 per jar (approx 100g - 8 servings)
